He doesn't quite know where he's been, or what he's been doing. Illesa had left him to his own devices, and so he had gone, wandering the Halls, staring at the tapestries, avoiding the fangirls wards.

He wanted to live again, wanted to breathe, but he did not want to leave Illesa. But he did not angst over this, he jsut hovered in the middle of his emotions, torn equally both ways, caught in the midst of this self perpetuating tragedy.

And what was there for him to return to? He would be made to pay for all those deeds that he had committed, death would not have been a barrier. He would have to face the humans again, wondering when, if ever, that hunger woudl strike him again, and he would have to kill.

He stood, surrounded by the lingering scent of honeysuckle, that seemed to cling to him like a second skin. His memories were hazy, and the soft burble of a nearby fountain lulled him into a dreamy state. The Garden of Dreams they called this place, and those who sought surcease from the things that plagued them came here.

Slowly, he sank down onto the soft grass, letting it cushion his head as he lay back and closed his eyes. The Garden of Dreams….

He fell into darkness, torn in half, but it was a grateful pain, a pain that signified his release. His life was over, his madness was over, and he could begin anew, start a new life.

If he could cope with his memories.

Draugluin: *Hide is rent in several places from the conflict so far, that has taken the pair out of his lair, but still Draugluins eyes burn with the flame of madness*

Huan:: *After hours of fighting, there is still no resolution to the conflict at hand. His opponent still stands, and neither of them is going to back down. Reasoning with a beast that has gone mad is worthless. Yet he knows he must be the victor of this fight, and he lunges again, aiming for the throat.*

Their fight continued, neither giving an inch as they battled. Their circling and weaving, darting and dogding had carried them outwards and upwards, till at least they stood outside the city. Both stood, their coats speckled with fresh and drying blood, but neither would back down. Huan and Draugluin still faced each other.

2:11 am
Draugluin stood in the centre of the courtyard, sweat pouring off his skin, bare chest gleaming in the slowly rising rays of the sun. In his hand he held a naked sword blade, and his eyes considered the simple battered wooden post that stood at the centre of the yard. In his eyes, it was not wood, but an enemy of the pack, an enemy that had to be dispatched.
But slowly, it assumed features, that took on a taunting sneer, daring him to act. The face of the insolent thief stared at him, and Draugluin felt his rage rise. Unable to check it, he lunged blindly at the pell, feeling the vibration through every inch of his being as the sword embedded itself three inches into the wood.
Draugluin let go of the quivering hilt, clenching his fists to try and stop the tingling in his fingers. He breathed deeply, trying to quell the rage inside him. He had not lost control like this in a while, and the speed with which it had consumed him frightened him.

This was not a good sign.

He stared at the sword where it was stuck, before turning his back. It would remain there to remind him to control himself. Another sword could be purchased, another pell, but not another soul.

11:42 am - Another story post :)
Draugluin strolled along, attempting to look as menacing as possible. He had decided that money was going to be important, and although it was almost an alien concept, he would have to earn some.
It had taken him some time to think of a job he would be able to do, and even longer to find someone willing to hire him. And even in Minas Tirith, people needed bodyguards.
So that was what he was doing, attempting to look menacing as he guarded a portly merchant of indeterminate age. The merchant dealt in wool, and apparently had enemies. But as long as he paid, and paid well, Draugluin didn't mind.
So far the work had not been strenuous, involving simply walking and glaring. Both of which left him time to think.
The tugging sensation which he had felt since chaining the demon within was diminished now, reduced to a shiver every time he faced a certain direction. He still didn't know what it was, but had vowed not to investigate just yet. If it was important, he was sure that something would happen to draw it back to him and his attention. Till then, he had a job to do.
